About us

Wabamun Wisdom is home to Gracious Greetings, its flagship card line available on Ebay or at retail outlets.  In Edmonton visit Cal's Growers Direct or Bless the Maker, Southgate Centre.  At one time we had over 500 retail outlets throughout Western Canada carrying our products.  Now we are now back activily engaged after lengthy illness.

Our Gracious Greetings line is based on the original poetry of Jennifer C. Peers.  Gracious Greetings "Say it with Sensitivity".  These small enclosure cards are produced on high quality cardstock with card and envelope enclosed in a protective bag.  Numerous titles include birthday, romance, new baby, congratulations, anniversary, get well, inspirational, sympathy etc. including cards devoted to family members.

Our other card lines include Memorable Moments, "Grain Elevators of Alberta' featuring Jennifer's nostalgic watercolour paintings of a by-gone era; Canknuckle Chuckles, a take off on celebrities featuring her bright comical graphic art and witty text;  Vintage Vehicles showcase her watercolour paintings of antique vehicles inspired by the Reynolds Alberta Museum collection;   Flower Power is a series of high gloss photographs by Simon Peers with Jennifer's inspirational messages;  BC Designs also feature Simon's photgraphy of beautiful BC scenes blank inside for your personal message.

Jennifer has been writing poetry since early childhood.  Some of her earliest memories are tied to "Big Sky Country" wandering through the coulees and wheat fields of Southern Alberta.  She enjoys and studies classical piano and many remark on the lyrical quality of her verses.

In the 1960's she moved to Edmonton where she met her late husband, Simon, a former reporter for CFRN.  Simon was a financial and marketing consultant, her business partner, editor and creative director.
